*** It is worth reminding evaluators that Student Evaluations of Teachers (SET) are well documented to be biased against women and POC. This discrimination is heightened in male-dominated fields. It is also more common coming from male students. As a woman teaching physics in the co-ed post baccalaureate program, I am acutely aware of this discrimination and hope the College will move away from using SET for promotion purposes..
